Course Learning Outcomes
After course work students are expected to understand
One fluid magneto hydrodynamic approximation, the dissipation term in plasmas, the concept of various instabilities.
The concept of Kinetic model, the most precise plasma model, which will be used in their future research work.
How the basic fluid model may be derived and applied n Valsov theory.
The derivation of variuos electrostatic waves using plasma dispersion function.
Both linear and nonlinear Landau damping.
Will be able to understand the calculations and physics of various electromagnetic waves.
