The Government of Punjab has passed an Act No.XVII of 2018 called the Punjab Compulsory Teaching of Holy Quran wherein all the educational institutions in Punjab have been directed to teach Holy Quran with translation. Subsequently the Chancellor constituted a seven members Committee of Vice Chancellors wherein it was unanimously resolved that Universities shall make concrete efforts to teach this compulsory course of Holy Quran and this decision was duly conveyed to LCWU by Governor’s Secretariat vide Notification No. GS(Uni-I)1-1/2020-390 dated:11-5-2020. This resource is developed by LCWU for teaching of Quran Translation.
