Course Contents
Introduction to Statistics, Data Collection Methods, Sample Designs, Visual Presentation of Data, Descriptive Statistics, Testing of hypothesis (One sample test, Two sample test, ANOVA), Experimental Design, Multiple Linear Regression Model and its Diagnostics and remedial measures, Categorical Regression Models, Correlation, Association.
Course Synopsis
The course is designed to impart the knowledge of Biostatistics to analyze biological and medical data with the help of different softwares.
Course Learning Outcomes
1. The students will be able to represent their data using different visualization methods available in softwares.
2.The students will be able to design their laboratory experiment using randomization methods.
3.The students will be able to use appropriate statistical techniques to analyze laboratory outcome or survey data and interpret the findings.
