Course Synopsis

The course deals with the concepts of plant systematics and anatomy. It explains systems of classification, morphological characters of root, stem, leave, flower and fruit. It also deals with identification characters and economic importance of plant families. It explains anatomical characters of plants.

Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course students will be able to: • understand the plant systematic and its role in classification • explains plant families and understand their distinguish characters • identifies and grouping of different plants based on the anatomy
