Course Contents

the course comprises only those topics which are directly related to Electrical Engineering / Information Technology / Information System Engineering. Applied physics involves studying not only how phenomena come about, but also how to use them for technical solutions. The programme focuses on theory and practice.

Course Synopsis

• The course gives the students a sound knowledge of physics with its applications to problems of practical nature. • After studying this course the students will be able to apply physics as a strong tool to understand and develop the problems which they come across in Engineering / Tehnology. • The practical classes provide the real-life situation to the students and it gives them the hands-on experience which shall be necessary for them during the course of their career.

Course Learning Outcomes

• Describe the major concepts in physics. • Demonstrate an appropriate level of competency in both computer and research laboratory skills • Integrate and relate scientific knowledge learned from classroom with real life situations. • Maintain life-long learning in the sciences and incorporate new information into the existing body of knowledge. • Outline the applications of physics in industry and the role of physicists as entrepreneurs.
