Course Synopsis
Introduction to the various perspectives and philosophies in early childhood education from all over the world. Special focus will be given to the approaches of Waldorf, Montessori, Froebel, Reggio Emilia, High Scope and International Baccalaureate (IB). Learners will be taught to understand and critically analyze the components of each in the context of Pakistan.
Course Learning Outcomes
the student teachers will be able to:
1. identify and Introduce the various perspectives and philosophies in early childhood education from all over the world.
2. successfully reflect on and incorporate the approaches of Waldorf, Montessori, Froebel, Reggio Emilia, High Scope and International Baccalaureate (IB).
3. to understand and critically analyze the components of each teaching approach in the context of Pakistan.
