Course Synopsis
The course is designed to provide the basic understanding to the upcoming Business and IT professionals to help make them understand the use of information systems. Managers and executives must possess excellence in handling and working of Computer systems. This course seeks to develop the necessary skills needed for the student seeking her place in the executive world.

• This course is designed to introduce students to computer-based information systems and their role in business organizations.
• Topics to be covered include a discussion of the nature of information and its contribution to the strategic, managerial, and operational aspects of business, the role of information technology in business process re engineering.
• The planning, analysis, design, and implementation needed achieve successful information systems, and telecommunications - that underlie these systems. However, the emphasis of the course will be on the managerial used of computer information systems, not the technology by itself.
