• Introduction to Digital Art Industry and its Divisions • Study of some superstar Digital Artists and their works • Essentials for a Digital Artists (the fundamentals of Drawing) • First practical assignment (Scanning of manual solid drawing and then addition of digital colors through software.) • Manipulation of picture with digital creative concepts. • Digital Painting Techniques with the use of Pen Tablet • Digital drawing of Human gestures and Anatomy study • Self-portrait • Caricature drawing featuring different face emotions • Self caricature • Digital painting of dramatic shadows • Digital painting of dramatic light source • Creating fantasy based character from real based textures • Cartoonist comics • Double exposure (combining variety of digital characters and objects in one subject) • Complex detailed drawing with complete combination of source light and shadows

Course Synopsis

This course is basically to introduce our students with the basics of Digital Mediums and their application in worldwide graphics industry, which has been rapidly growing with technology and advanced processes.

Course Learning Outcomes

Students will start working with digital equipment (Graphics Pen and Tablet), and learn to maximize the freedom with techniques of digital drawing & painting, along with studying and exploring various digital art styles that are commonly known in this vast industry.
