Course Synopsis

The course has been designed to introduce the concept of special education. It deals with the problems of special children and different types and causes of disability among them. It also highlights the national policy for persons with disability. The students will get awareness about the basic conceptual frame work of special education. Moreover, the aim of the course is to sensitize and orient the students about various policies and rehabilitation measures for disabled in Pakistan.

The students will be having knowledge of special education, with this knowledge they will be better able to resolve the issues of disable persons when they will come into practical field.
