Course Synopsis
This course consists on the laws which are made in Pakistan for eradicating social problems and social evils. Students will study the laws for the protection of women, children, mental health, human trafficking, environmental protection etc. and most significantly laws for registering NGOs. Laws on Zakat and Bait ul Mal are also included. Salient features of all laws will be taught to the students. This specific course will help the students during their careers.
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
1. Identify development problems and challenges which provide the basis for social legislation.
2. Understand the laws prevailing in Pakistan for eradicating different social problems and social evils.
3. Know the laws regarding registration process of the NGOs.
4. Come out with improved communication, team work, presentation and study skills.
