Course Synopsis
This course aims to:-
1. Explain basic knowledge and history about the social work profession and the social welfare system.
2. Describe the values and philosophical framework of the social work profession.
3. Identify the various fields and settings for social work practice.
4. Describe the fundamental questions the profession of social work addresses.
5. Identify the basic knowledge about social service agencies and programs in the country.
6. To develop, in students, an increased level of competency in social work.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
