Course Synopsis

The main aim of this course is to understand the social phenomena of marriage and family. The focus will be to study major family systems in the world and how family conflicts can be resolved by understanding the right and duties of husband and wife and by marriage councilors.

Develop a sociological approach to marriage and family through readings material, video lectures and class discussions. Learn how to sociologically analyze your personal experiences, your society, and the world at large.
