Course Synopsis
1. TENSOR IN PHYSICS:
Tensor Algebra, orthogonal transformation, Cartesian, linear transformation, divergence and curl of a vector field in tonsorial notation, symmetric and anti-symmetric tensor, pseudo tensor.
2. GREEN FUNCTION:
Definition, strum liouville system, green's function for strum liouville problem operator, homogeneous boundary value problem, green function, eigen function expansion of green function for one dimension problem.
3. SPECIAL FUNCTION:
Bessel function, spherical bessel function, legendre polynomials, associated legendre polynomial.
