Course Synopsis
Modern Persian Literature in Iran-I and primary Persian grammar-II
Synopsis:
The students will be provided the basic knowledge of modern Persian literature and authors like Sadiq Hifayat, Hijazi, Parveen Aitsami, Bahar and Nima Youshij. This course will offer the short stories of modern writers. The students will also be given the basic information of Persian grammar.
Course Learning Outcomes
1. It will enables the students to read popular fiction of modern Iran.
2. Students will be familiar with contemporary and modern trends of Persian language and literature.
3. The students will be able to translate easily the Persian texts.
