Course Synopsis
Literary criticism is an exercise to judge the worth of literature and texts. This course focuses on study and analysis of literary criticism, most celebrated critics of world literature. It will also provide students the introduction of important literary themes in Iran and subcontinent. Students will know about famous critics of Persian literature.
Course Learning Outcomes
1. The students will be familiar with major types of literary criticism and schools of thought.
2. They will be able to analyse and evaluate the research matter.
3. The students will be able to classify the literature by genre and structure.
4. It will help them to understand the importance of a text.
