Course Synopsis

This course gives the different historical perspectives of Gender and Development. It enhances students' knowledge about different developmental processes running worldwide and specifically in Pakistan. It also highlights the role of government and non-government institutes in issues related to gender and development in Pakistan.

Course Learning Outcomes

Students will get familiarity with the concepts of Development and it's relation with Gender. They can get knowledge about International and national developmental processes running in past years and in present era for gender issues. Students can critically analyze the role of government and non-government institutes for gender and development and they can also give their suggestions about how to overcome gender related issues in country.
