2) Laboratory organization, media formulation and aseptic techniques:
Set up of laboratory, Media composition, Types of media and its composition,
Media preparation, Selection of media, Different sterilizing techniques for culture vessels, culture room and transfer area and plant material.
3) Initiation and maintenance of callus:
Culture media, ingredients, Explant preparation, Callus initiation, callogenesis ,callus growth characteristics, factors affecting callus growth, Application of callogenesis.
4) Organ i.e shoot and root development:
Organogenesis, Initiation of organogenic culture, selection of media, factors affecting organogenesis, Application of organ formation.
5) Somatic Embryogenesis:
Introduction, Pathways of somatic embryogenesis, Types of embryogenesis, Factors affecting the induction of embryos, Practical application of somatic embryogenesis.
6) Micropropagation:
Definition, Stages of micropropagation, Production of disease free plants, Different methods of virus elimination, Technical problems encountered in micropropagation.
7) Cell Suspension Culture:

8) Isolation ,Purification and culture of protoplast:
