Course Contents

Studio Practice program is a two year full-time advanced degree that will prepare mature artist-researchers with the highest qualifications to teach studio and theory courses, supervise graduate students within a university context, and have significant professional careers as artists. These objectives are achieved through a combination of course work, independent studio practice, and writing. The Course provides students an opportunity to gain the experience of displaying their work to gain professional curatorial and display experience. The Artist Talk will be a student joint effort to arrange a professional artistic discussion panel. They will learn writing artist statements, preparation of catalogues, media coverage and other several tasks involved in professional Show and artistic discourses.

Course Synopsis

The Professional Course aims at equipping students with the skill of collaborating with national and international bodies for arranging and participating in professional art activities such as group and solo exhibitions and artist talks.

Course Learning Outcomes

The Course will enable students to prepare and arrange Group and Solo Exhibitions professionally on various national and international platform. The students will be able to conduct artistic discussion panels comprised of artist community.
