Course Synopsis
This course deals with a specialized study of an epoch that changed the course of human history. It will focus on the nature, development and the effects of the events upon human society. The emphasis will not just be on the political developments but also on the socio-political, economic and cultural effects of the events. Course Learning Outcomes
Examination of the origins, phases, and results of selected revolutions throughout modern world history. Analyze from a comparative perspective interpretations of the causes; phases; results of the revolutions; and how issues of gender, race, and class shaped these revolutions.
