Course Synopsis
The Course is designed to investigate the evolution and growth of human rights in the light of contribution added by the number of thinkers and human rights activists through windows of history.The role of organizations( international and regional) also studied to have a deep insight into the development of political, civic, socio-economic rights.
Course Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to understand the concept of Human Rights and its relevance with democracy, development of human personalities & welfare of society and its people.
Students will be able to relate the evolutionary and historical nature of human rights and ongoing struggle and strive for human rights in Pakistan.
Students will be more familiar with variety of their rights as guaranteed by constitution and importance of respective constitutional guarantees with their individual position as well as an active citizen of society.
Students will be more skilled to understand the problems of human rights while coming up with some suggestions.
