Course Synopsis

To familiarize students with application of statistical tools and methods in medical sciences.

Course Learning Outcomes

The students would be able to use statistical techniques to analyze medical data. The students can describe basic concepts of probability, random variation and commonly used statistical probability distributions. The students can apply descriptive techniques and statistical methods for inference in medical research. The students can be able to interpret results of statistical analysis in medical studies.
