Course Synopsis

The course is basically related with the application of methods of Social Work in the health care settings. It is mainly about the problems faced by the patients in different hospitals. It deals with the bio- psycho-social problems of the patients and different methods of Social Work to resolve these problems. Objectives of this course is to make students understand how Medical Social Work is helpful to understand human problems so they will be able to utilize the knowledge and skill in medical setting of work.
