Course Synopsis

This course entails the difference and important components of Business and Entrepreneurship. An understanding of entrepreneurship and small business management by studying entrepreneurial strategies, the identification. and pursuit of new venture opportunities, and the development of business plans will be focused along with establishment and growth of small businesses. Insight will be provided about mechanism and difference of Small, medium and large enterprises, their role and importance in Pakistan and globally. The course will also encompass organizational and human resource practices. Gender related and women specific issues in business context will also be highlighted.

Course Learning Outcomes

This course will enable students to 1.Demonstrate an understanding of basic concepts in organizational behavior 2. Develop an understanding of entrepreneurship and small business 3. Demonstrate an understanding of the role of enterprises and small business in the economy 4. Manage own professional development and provide leadership to others 5. Facilitate and communicate the human resources component of the organization's business plan.
