Course Contents
• Exploration of all mediums in outdoor figurative drawings with emphases on conceptual creative compositions.
• Experimentation with conceptual and creative compositions from miniature to life size drawings.
• Nature based zoomed out compositions to study aesthetical approach according to Muslim aesthetics.
• Outdoor studies of different historical places, Museums, interior Lahore to get inspiration, Students will produce conceptual compositions with the infusion of traditional and modern approach and technique.
• Conceptual Installation based on research study with any medium of student’s choice.
• Creative and conceptual drawings based on the themes selected by the students for their major thesis as a supporting medium.
Course Synopsis
This course is designed for final year students to have a comprehensive understanding of drawing as a medium of expression which is one of the foundations for art practice. This course aims to help them boost their conceptual understanding of the medium as well. Students will be encouraged to incorporate this medium in their thesis projects as well.
Course Learning Outcomes
This course boosts conceptual understanding of the final year student along with the application of subjective content in her major subject. The course aids in exploring the creative and symbolic content of objects. Students will be given free hand to explore and bring forth their new ideas in various mediums as an outcome their drawing skills will be further enhanced.
