Course Contents
The students will perform multiple assignments of the following categories:
1. Video Art
2. Installation
• Introduction of New Media Art and international trends
• Portrait in collage
• Found objects and sound assemblage
• The composition of static and moving images i.e. Claymation, stop motion, photomontage etc.
• Videography (duration 2 minutes)
• The combination of body art and installation
Course Synopsis
This course will introduce the trends and vision of 21st century contemporary art to the students of Visual Arts. Through this course they will be able to practice new techniques of art making with digital devices in studio practice. Through this course student will be able to produce an artwork in to a pure experimental/digital art that might be collaborated with traditional practices.
Course Learning Outcomes
The student will express their ideas utilizing their practice of new media arts to match the requirement of the modern day life and changing trends of art making.
