In 2D art practice the students will perform multiple assignments of the following categories
1. Painting
2. Print Making
3. Photography
Course Synopsis
This course will
• Introduce the visual and verbal vocabulary of two dimensional art works (drawing, painting and printmaking),
• Identify the functions and purposes of two dimensional works,
• Introduce drawing media and distinguish the specific techniques and qualities associated with each media,
• Identify the media and specific techniques associated with paintings,
• Unveil the broad historical presence of painting, drawing and as an art form.

The student will be able to comprehend the visual and verbal vocabulary of two dimensional art works.
