Course Contents

• The course includes: Indoor/ Studio Photography, Product Photography, Fashion Photography, Out-door Photography and City/landscape Photography.

Course Synopsis

• The Final Major Project, gives the opportunity to produce a coherent set of photographic images of the textile thesis products at an advanced conceptual, technical and aesthetic level. • This body of work will be a development from the range of cultural and practical work that you have undertaken so far on the course. • There will be a clear emphasis on contemporary fashion image-making, directed towards a specific and clearly identified audience.

Course Learning Outcomes

• Learn how to take great photos of your products • Find out how to make your images look better on the web and in print. • Digital product photography • Composition and lighting techniques • The technical aspects of photography (exposure, depth of field etc.) • What to do with the images once you have transferred them from the camera (including image processing in Photoshop and using images for both web and print).
