Course Synopsis
The course has been created and designed while keeping in view the importance of analytical techniques in designing a research project. IR, Raman and X-ray photoelctron spectroscopy are frequently used in basic characterization of the compounds and keep a place in characterization.
Course Learning Outcomes
Students will able to know about the
1. electromagnetic spectrum and its role in characterization of materials.
2.molecular structure determination while applying the said techniques.
3. to be able to choose which characterization technique could be used at what stage of the research.
