Course Contents
This course is for students who are interested in understanding and building systems support mechanisms for mobile computing systems including client-server web/database/file systems, and mobile and ad hoc sensor networks for achieving the goal of anytime, anywhere computing in wireless mobile environments.
Course Synopsis
Mobile Computing and Wireless Networks course will cover a broad selection of topics in data communications, resource management, network protocols, distributed computing, information management, user interfaces, applications/services, and security. Students will learn the principles of Mobile Computing and its enabling technologies and explore exciting ideas, solutions and paradigm shifts.
