Regulation of metabolic processes including role of vitamins, receptor mediated regulation (hormones), secondary messengers and gene expression.

Course Synopsis

Students learn all biological processes, including those that are necessary for health and those that lead to disease, and governed by the chemical interactions of molecules, from diagnosing disease to the drugs we use to treat it, it also based on chemistry.

Course Learning Outcomes

It helps students understand the chemical aspects of biological processes such as digestion, hormonal action, muscle contraction-relaxation, importance of nutrition and health deals with body substances like enzymes, carbohydrates, amino acid, fats, protiens, hormones DNA, RNA ETC
