Course Synopsis

The course aims to introduce the pertinent concepts and theories about evolution of humans and culture. The course will dilate branches of anthropology, including physical anthropology, archaeology, socio-cultural anthropology, and linguistic anthropology.

Course Learning Outcomes

• A student must be able to understand the humanity as a whole and evolution of human societies. • A vast knowledge and broad understanding of human behavior, cultural diversity, and learning as a process of social interaction. • A student must be able to understand, explore and explain that why we act the way we do, and how it affects our physical, cultural, social, and political environments. • Students will learn to understand change, compare and contrast information, and learn how to make connections and think outside the box in area of socio-cultural, and political and religious dimensions.
