Course Synopsis

The purpose of this paper is to study the variety of modern Persian literature. Teachers will interpret the Persian texts and verses of Dr Parvez Natil Khanlari, Saeed Nafeesi, Eeraj Mirza, Shahryar, Seemeen Behbahani etc. The main qualities of their poetry and the impact of Islamic revolution of Iran on mofern Persian poetry will also be discussed in this paper.

1. The students will be motivated to ask the questions and make arguments. 2. The students will develop their creative and critical thinking. 3. The students will demonstrate a clear understanding of primary text of modern literary era of Persian.
