(i) Contemporary Art from 1990’s to present (ii) Establishment of Art Councils, art institutions and private studios and galleries.

Course Synopsis

This course is aimed to provide an interactive platform to the scholars where they can directly contact, meet and interview the artist or document the art events, exhibitions and artists talks. This course will also comprise the information about prominent contributions of the artists and art groups into the contemporary art scene of Pakistan through special lectures of the course tutors and prominent art critics and scholars.

Course Learning Outcomes

This course will enable the scholar to have a sound knowledge about the contemporary art and also develop a skill to analyze and comment critically on the art of present day Pakistan.
