Course Synopsis
To understand the use of various sample designs, to compare equal and unequal probability sampling concepts, to learn various selection procedures, to understand the construction of estimators using different estimation methods and sampling design.
Course Learning Outcomes
Having successfully completed this course students will be able to:
• Understand the use of equal and unequal probability sampling for selection of sample.
• Understand how to develop new selection procedure in unequal probability sampling.
• Understand how to develop new estimators in sampling and become aware of recent development in the research related to development of estimators.
