Course Contents

Confounding in factorial experiments, complete and partial confounding, Fractional factorial Experiments, Confounding in Fractional Factorial replications. Split-plot, Split block, Split-Split plot, Strip plot Strip- split plot and nested designs. Incomplete Block designs: BIBD, Lattice Designs, and Youden Square and PBIBD.

Course Synopsis

Use of confounding and fractional replication in factorial experiments. Introduction to Split- plot designs and incomplete block designs.

Course Learning Outcomes

Students shall have • understanding about application of all the experimental designs and their layouts. • familiar with the principles for the analysis of experimental data obtained from different research designs, including identification of significant treatment effects.
