Course Synopsis

This course provides students with an introduction of the laws of the war or coercive means for the settlement of international disputes, state responsibility, jurisdictions and immunities, laws of land, maritime and air warfare and tell them about the war crimes.

Course Learning Outcomes

After studying this course student would be able to explain all the rules that govern the use of the force in international law and be able to critically analyze that how these laws have been misused and misapplied in particular situations. Further they can comment on the key challenges to the operation of the rules of the land, air and maritime warfare. And lastly it would enhance student’s confidence in conducting research in international law.
