Course Synopsis

This course briefly introduces the basic concepts and types of religion. It highlights the significance and effects of religion in human life. This course majorly discusses and highlights the status and roles of women from the perspective of the world’s various religions (including Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam).

Course Learning Outcomes

 Students will be able to understand different religious perspective regarding women and relate it with the practical life.  Students will be able to analyze and compare the role and status of women among different religions.
