Course Learning Outcomes

This course aims to: 1. Introduce the students about the basics of remote sensing and GIS. 2. Understand the principles, applications, trends, and pertinent issues of remote sensing and geographic information system. 3. Develop technical skills and competence in data and information acquisition, extraction, management and analysis and learn and apply the theoretical concepts by working on real life problem areas such as land use and deforestation.
