Final Project will be based on application of concepts learned during the coursework. Project should incorporate innovation models and how it changed the way of doing.

Course Synopsis

This course objective is to provide management students with an understanding of the main issues in the management of innovation and the relevant skills needed to manage innovation at both strategic and operational levels. Innovation is a fundamental driver of competitiveness and it plays a large part in improving quality of life. It is essential that students understand the strategies, tools and techniques for managing innovation, which often requires a different set of management knowledge and skills from those employed in everyday business administration. It will also show the students how this process can turn ideas into successful products, processes or services and add economic value to the organizations and society.it includes definitions and concepts of innovation, invention and research and development Discuss main models of innovation. Applying tools for innovation management. Diagnostic and analytical skills. Enhance verbal skills through case studies and syndicate discussions Develop judgmental and interpretation skills. How to evaluate different options. Formulate and develop strategy. Assess and resolve managerial challenges. Enhance innovative thinking ability through conducting project
