Drafting is a technical drawing of any perceived idea and exhibiting it at real proportion and scale. It is used to develop a design idea into a coherent proposal, to communicate ideas and concepts, to convince clients of the merits of a design, to enable a contractor to construct it, as a record of the completed work, and to make a record of a structure or object that already exists.
In order to produce any design, in reality drafting is required, It is very important to use Drafting apparatus accurately so that there are no errors in the drawing. Drawing should have complete description that is required for the implementation of design, with a sense of scale.
