Course Synopsis

This course is specifically designed to develop leadership qualities in post graduate students for leading educational reforms, policies and practices so that students can carve out their own ways to meet challenges of 21st century educational needs and demands. The course incorporates leadership theories and models for making educational change. It encompasses the trends and challenges of managing change in learning organizations.

After studying the course, the students can: 1. Differentiate between the concept of leadership, administration, management and supervision 2. Analyze concepts, theories and models of educational leadership and management 3. Evaluate different theories and come up to the best approach 4.
