The course covers: Graphics hardware and Fundamental graphics algorithms. Two and three dimensional imaging geometry and transformations. Curve and surface design, rendering, shading, colour, and animation.

Course Synopsis

The objective of the course is to • learn basic and fundamental computer graphics algorithms and techniques; • learn 2-D and 3-D geometric transformations ; • Examine applications of modelling, rendering, design, visualization and animation

Course Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to: Write and implement different algorithms for: • different shapes, image transformations, lines and curves, panning and zooming, Curve and surface design, rendering, shading, colour, and animation
